                                                                      Santosh Yadav is an Indian mountaineer. She is one of the few women in the world the to climb Mount Everest twice less than a year and the first woman to successfully climb Mt Everest from Kangshung Face. She first climbed the peak in May 1992 and then did it again in May 1993. Santosh Yadav summited Everest on May 12th, 1992 via the South East Ridge route on the Indian Everest Expedition lead by Hukam Singh.
