On one fine sunny day, Akbar and Birbal were taking a leisurely walk in the palace gardens. Suddenly, Akbar thought of testing Birbal’s wits by asking him a tricky question.  Emperor asked Birbal, “How many crows are there in our kingdom?”  Birbal could sense the amusement in the king’s voice, and within a few minutes  Birbal replied, “My king, there are eighty thousand nine hundred and seventy-one crows in our kingdom”.  Surprised and amazed, Akbar further tested Birbal, “What if we have more crows?”  Birbal replied, “Oh, then the crows from the other kingdoms must be visiting us’’.  “ What if there are lesser crows?” asked Akbar.  “Well, then some of our crows must be visiting other kingdoms”, replied Birbal with a grin on his face.  Akbar smiled at Birbal’s great sense of humour and wit.

  Title of the Moral Story : A Wise Counting Emperor Akbar was in the habit of putting riddles and puzzles to his courtiers. He often asked questions which were strange and witty. It took much wisdom to answer these questions.  Once he asked a very strange question. The courtiers were dumb folded by his question.   Akbar glanced at his courtiers. As he looked, one by one the heads began to hang low in search of an answer. It was at this moment that Birbal entered the courtyard. Birbal who knew the nature of the emperor quickly grasped the situation and asked, "May I know the question so that I can try for an answer".   Akbar said, "How many crows are there in this city?"   Without even a moment's thought, Birbal replied "There are fifty thousand five hundred and eighty nine crows, my lord".   "How can you be so sure?" asked Akbar.   Birbal said, "Make you men count, My lord. Tom's owner buys a mechanical cat called Mechano to catch Jerry, but it goes out-of-control.

While escaping from Tom, Jerry falls into a bottle filled with invisible ink. Now, that he is invisible, he is trying to scare Tom making a lot of mess and noise in the house.

Tom is very sick of Jerry, who steals his milk every night. He has attempted many ways to get rid of the mouse, even getting him into a cage, but all of them failed, so he decides to make a mixture that would kill him. However, the liquid makes Jerry stronger! Unfortunately, when its effect diminishes, Jerry has to find a way to get more of it.

It's spring, and Tom is in the park when Toodles (the white kitten) arrives. He is staring at her and Jerry notices that Tom is attracted by her, so he tries to ruin his fun just when another cat arrives, getting Toodles attention and making Tom jealous. Now, he has to deal with the other cat while he tries to get rid of the mouse.

Spike, the dog, wants to take a nap. However, all the noise Tom is doing when he chases Jerry disturbs him, so he threatens Tom to "destroy" him if he makes another sound. This forces Tom to do everything he can to avoid waking up Spike while Jerry tries to make his life impossible causing all the noise he can.

Jerry is about to be caught by Tom when an eagle suddenly appeared. Flying much faster than Tom runs, the eagle caught the mouse and took it to its nest. Now, Tom is trying to get Jerry back disguised as a bird, though his costume brings more problems when a male eagle falls in love with him.

Jerry is so tired of the country life that he decides to make a change in his life. He heads to Manhattan, hoping to have a great night with other mouses, but the city doesn't end up being as good as Jerry thought.

Jerry saved Spike from going to the city's pound, so Spike felt the need to reward Jerry in some way, so he offered to be his bodyguard. Now, the only thing that Jerry has to do is whistle, and Spike will go. Obviously, this becomes a great problem to Tom, who tries to find a way to catch the mouse without messing up with the dog.

Harriet, Tom's aunt, has died and Tom inherited all his money. However, in her testament it was clearly stated that Tom will lose all the money if he damages any living being, even a mouse. Now, Jerry is taking advantage of this situation and Tom is fighting against himself to not get rid of the mouse.

Tom dresses with an orange zoot suit made with a hammock to impress a black kitten and eventually wins her affection. However, Jerry wants to interfere to get revenge of Tom's cruel actions towards him and he finds ways to ruin the cat's date.
